Dr. Maysson Al Otaiba is founder and creative director of her eponymous label MAYSSON. She grew up between the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and London where she brings a rich, multicultural background to her brand. 

From a young age, she was destined to design, creating her own fashions and carrying her sketchbook with her constantly. At age 14, she set eyes on the London College of Fashion during a family holiday and was determined to attend the institution.

Dr. Al Otaiba would not only graduate from London College of Fashion with several degrees in fashion, management and marketing. She also had experience with luxury brands where she contributed to fashion marketing. Dr. Al Otaiba has also obtained her PhD in business management and marketing. 

She initially launched her label for today’s “independent, confident and well-travelled” woman. Melding classic silhouettes with modern style, Dr. Al Otaiba channels contemporary trends as well as Mediterranean and Middle Eastern heritage. She then created comfortable and unique pieces for childrenswear.
